The frontwoman for heavy metal band Arch Enemy, Alissa White-Gluz is as powerful in the animal rights activist world as the riffs she rocks on stage. A lifelong vegetarian before going vegan, not a single ounce of meat has touched Alissa's lips, thanks to her vegetarian parents. She has been a vegan for over 20 years and continues to use her platform as a heavy metal rockstar to encourage compassion and responsibility amongst her fans.
When she isn't touring and performing 250 nights a year, Alissa is out campaigning, out at marches and rallies. For her years of animal activism, Alissa has won awards from PETA and even hosted the Official Animal Rights March in New York City. Alissa continues to be a strong female figurehead for veganism in the metal world, working alongside Misfits's Doyle as a rep for Vegan Monster Protein and continues to advocate for veganism through various forms, including her Instagram and Patreon page.
