Dr. Amie Breeze Harper

Founder of Critical Diversity Solutions, Dr. Amie Breeze Harper, is a forerunner in the fight for equity, equality, and inclusivity. 

Providing all the tools needed to produce a more inclusive working environment, Critical Diversity Solutions offer a series of lectures, conferences, and workshops focusing on anti-racism, racial inclusion, and racial-gender equity with intersectional framing. Basing their curriculum on systems and history, CDS shines a light on the conscious and unconscious biases that plague many workplaces and office spaces. Their How Systemic Racism Impacts Inclusion and Equity , and How Gendered-Racism Impacts Workplace Belonging workshops are some of the most popular modules, especially among corporations looking to adopt a more inclusive work environment. 

Amie has recently joined Climax Foods working as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisor. There, she is helping to align ethical food commodities with political, social, and racial justice for marginalized peoples. 

Successful author Amie has penned two books, including Scars: A Black Lesbian Experience in Rural White New England (Sense Publishers) and Sistah Vegan: Black Female Vegans Speak on Food, Identity, Health and Society (Lantern Books). 

Amie continues to be an advocator for various causes in the fields of food health and education, working with The Pollination Project, Occidental College, the Toronto Vegetarian Society, Middlebury College, Handpick food mobile app company, Boston University, PetSmart Charities, FoodFirst, Mercy for Animals, A Well Fed World Foundation, and Chairman Mom. She holds an MA in Educational Technologies from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Cultural Geography from U.C. Davis.
